I read, therefore iBook

Tuesday, February 21, 2012 by Adrian

Apple has given us a modern way to access hundreds of books we may not necessarily have the space for in our homes with the creation of 'iBook.'

This app lets users download books (many of them free) from a vast online library that can be organised and personalised to the users own style. The app which holds over 700,000 books, lets users browse for books by title, author or genre, creating an easy way to find your favourite reads.

Although this app can only be used on the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, Apple prides itself on its high-end technology and does not disappoint with this app that features read-aloud, page turning and font changing technology.

With the creation of Apples iCloud, users of iBook are able to save their book collection across multiple devices, letting you put it down on your iPad and pick it up on your iPod touch.
