New website for FirstCape Wines

It's been a very enjoyable past few months at OCHQ where we've been working on a couple of exciting projects with FirstCape Wines.

To begin with, we designed and built a unique website for the FirstCape Café Collection Queen of Chat competition. Our friends at Touch PR enlisted the help of celebrity brand ambassador Alesha Dixon to spearhead the campaign, which is all part of a £2 million investment by Brand Phoenix over the next 24 months to evolve and further grow the lower-alcohol market.

Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon lead the search for all TV chat show wannabes - the UK's Chattiest woman. Renowned for her own love of chat and outspokenness Alesha teamed up with First Cape's Café Collection lighter style range to find the UK's Queen of Chat.

Ouno Creative designed and built the perfect site to help them bottle up the energy and buzz created when girls have a get together.

We facilitated entrants being able to upload videos of themselves before building in a voting mechanism allowing viewers to vote for their favourite. The results were fantastic.

Whilst this was going on, we were also busy building FirstCape's flagship site which includes a fantastic gallery of all of their wines. Take a look, we think you'll agree with us that it's quite impressive! Utilising a full CMS, they can update their site at the touch of a few buttons, we also utilised an effective call-out-box system allowing for lots of combinations of cross-linking content on internal pages.

The team at FirstCape and Brand Phoenix are rather pleased and so are we!
