Adrian Broadway

AdrianAdrian began his working life in magazine publishing, designing pages for many motoring magazines and achieving the level of Art Editor by the time he was 21. After many years of Art Editing different magazines he began a freelance career attracting the attention of High Profile lifestyle magazine The Face and others including the NME and Loaded. At the end of the 90's he returned to full time employment at the infamous Loaded magazine, a title now synonymous with that era and twice had his front cover designs voted into Campaign's Top 10 UK Front Covers. He has also illustrated for Details magazine in New York and Benetton's COLORS magazine.

34More recently he has Art Directed the launch of 'Test Drive' (Dennis Publishing's biggest ever UK magazine Launch) and performed a complete redesign of Men's Fitness and 911 & Porsche World.

Founded originally by Adrian Broadway, Ouno benefits directly from his 16 years experience Art Directing for the travel, fashion, automotive, homes, interiors and lifestyle industries.

He drives a 1934 ford (sometimes).

 

Simon Pipe

SimonA graphic designer by training and self confessed magazine and newspaper obsessive Simon has 20 years professional experience behind him. He previously held senior positions with Reed Business Publishing and News Corporation as well as design and communications agencies in the UK and Australia. He has worked with an impressive list of blue-chip clients including Westpac, The Commonwealth Bank and Boral in Australia and Autodesk, Hutchinson Telecom, Amdahl and NEC in the UK. Simon's work for Westpac bank won an IABC Gold Quill Award in 2002.

Prior to joining Ouno Creative, Simon was Creative Director at Trident Communications, and before that Simon was the chief of design at The Australian where he was responsible for transforming the role of design in the newspaper. Simon led The Australian graphics team in its award-winning 'megagraphics' program, developing 3D image creation and infographics for events such as the Australian Grand Prix and the Athens Olympics. He has also won awards for 'This Living Century' - a millennium-themed multimedia project and for the launch of 'Inside Asia' magazine for News Ltd.

On the publication front he has redesigned and launched titles for NFU Mutual, Flight International, AgustaWestland, Schroeders, Tarmac, Scottish Power, BP and Yorkshire Water.

He loves sci-fi.
