Ouno Creative recently rebranded FIRST magazine; the official Farnborough International Airshow interactive news magazine and relaunched it as both an iPad app and web experience. Each issue features video and written interviews with sponsors, exhibitors and the FIA team as well as a variety of exciting interactive features.
Originally designed as a flash-driven flip-magazine and very well received by the industry, it was however time to move things along with a product more suitable to todays Tablet and HTML5 users. We believe the user experience is now a lot more slick and feedback has been good with a significant upturn on use compared to the same issue from the previous show.
Adrian Broadway, Ouno co-Director commented “Users are demanding their chosen media to be available on a variety of platforms, so we felt it was essential that we delivered FIRST magazine not only as a web-based tool but also as a stand-alone ipad magazine app. The functionality remains essentially the same for both platforms where we have designed and built advanced interactive features to create an exciting user experience. We are also delighted to report that it will also be available soon for Android tablet users.
