Ouno Creative are excited to unveil a brand new look. Our identity has been updated with a stylish new logo which is a sophisticated evolution of the previous Ouno logo. We keep the black, grey and green colour but have simplified our logo typography and merged the letters to form a slinky, seductive icon. We love it, of course. The new branding has been applied to letterheads, comp slips, business cards and to a new look website. The motivation behinds the Ouno Creative website redesign was the fact that our studio capabilities and our client base have grown rapidly over the last five years. The old website did not reflect this growth or our aspirations and was starting to look dated visually. The old layout also did not allow us to showcase our portfolio to the best effect. So we bit the bullet and embarked on a radical redesign that would make best use of the latest web technologies including responsive layout. The new website was built on the powerful and popular WordPress platform and benefits from the excellent WordPress CMS. It’s easy to update and is fully responsive. The homepage is the most radical change from our old website, which sported a ‘magazine’ style look. The new website is basically one big vertically scrolling wall of thumbnail images form our portfolio, with virtually no text. It simply let’s our work speak for us. Many of the thumbnails are animated gifs which give the image wall movement. The overall effect is a flickering kalidescope of colour and image. We will keep adding to it over time – perhaps in a few years time the home page will be many feet in depth! The new Ouno Creative logo was stripped back even further to a black and white format for placement on the website, reflecting the new minimalist and contemporary branding that we are seeking to develop. Feedback on the new identity and website has been universally positive. Looks like we made the right decision.
